FAEMON started out as a regular character design challenge to create fake Pokemon, on social media commonly known as "Fakemon". Since then the challenge has slowly drifted away from the common tropes of a fanmade Pokedex and turned into its own unique project. Now rebranded as "Faemon", a new narrative and story is currently in development, to give these creatures their own unique world and lore. Once the dex has been completed, a new typing- and magic-system will be introduced to further distance itself from its origins and some of the Faemon will be renamed in the new context of the story.
